POSTPONED: Annual National Robotics Week LEGO EV3 Tournament


Our Annual National Robotics Week LEGO EV3 Tournament is coming up. This year’s theme is Traffic Jam. Participants will build a robot and compete in 2 weeks. Each team must consist of 2-4 students in grades 4-9. Teams will be rewarded for student leadership and teamwork. A nonparticipating adult must be present and an EV3 or NXT task bot capable of color sensing is required.

The tournament is at Washington Crown Center on Saturday April 4th from 10AM to 2PM. It costs $20 to enter and registration ends on March 28th. The registration form can be found here.

Alternatively, participants can sign up to attend a workshop on March 28th and work with a Titanium Titan to build and design a robot for the event on April 4th. In the workshop, a the Titans will act as a mentor for participants. A Titan will also be able to assist with last minute changes at the tournament. This workshop includes registration for the tournament and costs $40 for new students and $35 for returning students or siblings. Registration for the workshop can be found here.
