There is still time to join the team!
“The excitement of sport, the rigors of science
Under strict rules, limited resources, and the guidance of volunteer mentors including engineers, teachers, business professionals, parents, alumni and more, teams of 25+ students build and program robots to perform challenging tasks against a field of competitors. They must also raise funds, design a team “brand,” hone teamwork skills, and perform community outreach. In addition to learning valuable STEM and life skills, participants are eligible to apply for $80 million in college scholarships.” (source: firstinspires.org)
If you are a high school student (grades 8-12) who is interested in becoming part of our amazing robotics team, it’s not too late! We are accepting new applications through October 31st. After October 31st, new applications will be accepted on a case-by-case basis only.
Potential team members frequently ask how to find out whether the team is a good match for them. We are more than happy to have you attend a meeting or two so you can see for yourself. To set this up, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are looking forward to hearing from YOU.
